About Me

I am 45 years old and for the last 23 plus years I have worked within the field of professional sports.  For most of that time I have represented professional athletes (mostly NFL players) for marketing.  Basically, setting up appearances and endorsements.  During this time I have dealt quite a bit with performance coaches and facilities.  Being around professional athletes and watching them train really makes me think about my past and the things that I miss about being competitive as well as, training in general (actually getting desired results out of training.).

On April 2, 2012 I made the first step to changing my life.  On July 26, 2012, I completed one of the biggest challenges of my life.  Not only did I transform my body, but I took it from what I considered one extreme to another.  I also transformed my mind.  Build a strong mind and your body will follow.

The purpose of my blog is to motivate, inspire and inform.  I will pass on my knowledge as well as the knowledge of others, so that I can try to help other people who are interested in transforming their body.  Everyone has their own idea of how they would like their body to look.  If you can picture it you can achieve your goal.  My blog will include what it took for me to transform, what hurdles I came across, what motivated me and other interesting stories about healthy and active living.  It will provide videos and written posts.

  1. Congratulations Eric. I love the phase “Build a strong mind and your body will follow”. I’ve tried in the past the exact opposite, that is the reason your comment got me.!! Maria

    • Thanks Maria, making a transformation is mostly psychological. Make the decisions that are going to provide you with success. Push yourself in the gym, eat your 6 healthy meals each day. Keep your motivation going and stick with the people who are a positive influence on you.
